Arkin Punt P 90

Our treatment team

PuntP employs committed, experienced and specialized practitioners. We work with teams of psychologists, psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse specialists and social psychiatric practitioners. We explain who does what below.

Arkin, which PuntP is part of, is a training center for  psychologists, psychiatrists and nursing specialists. Psychologists and practitioners in training work independently, under the supervision of a specialist.

Other practitioners may be involved in your treatment too. Your care may involve different types of practitioners as our team reviews your progress together.

You will follow conversation therapy, also known as psychotherapy,  with a psychologist, clinical psychologist, psychotherapist or nurse specialist. You will examine the patterns of your thoughts, feelings and behaviors, and take steps towards the changes you want. You can find different types of psychotherapy under Behandelingen.

If you need medication, a treatment specialist or psychiatrist will explain  your medication to you. You can also make an appointment with a psychiatrist to clarify how your symptoms arose, persist or are related to physical issues.

A social psychiatric therapist will work with you to see how you can achieve greater balance in different areas of life. For example, in the relationship with your partner or your family, at work, in administrative tasks, your daily activities and taking care of yourself. The therapist will brainstorm ideas with you about how you can take steps to improve, reduce stress or ensure your psychological complaints have less effect on your life.
