If you want to be treated at PuntP, you need a referral letter from your GP or a healthcare professional from another mental health institution. You can ask your GP to send us this letter.

If you already have a referral letter, we ask you to e-mail it to us via aanmelden@arkin.nl or send it to Central Registration Arkin, PO Box 75848, 1070 AV Amsterdam.

Your referral letter will be received by the Central Registration Arkin (CAA) department. Please note: a CAA employee will contact you by e-mail or telephone for additional questions and to schedule the intake, the first interview. The CAA will look at whether a referral to another department within or outside PuntP is more appropriate.

At what location do the treatments take place?

The intake interview at PuntP is always at the Roetersstraat location. After the intake you will be placed on the waiting list. Click here for the current waiting times of PuntP. As soon as there is room, we will schedule you with a practitioner. This can be on the Roetersstraat or at our location Klaprozenweg in Amsterdam-Noord. We determine this on the basis of the available places. Both locations offer the same treatment and the same quality of care. You may indicate a preference for a location, but we cannot guarantee that you will be placed at this location.
