At PuntP, it is natural to involve loved ones in the treatment. Cooperation between you, your loved one and the practitioners benefits everyone: the recovery of your family member or loved one goes more smoothly and you get the support you need. We always explicitly ask our clients to bring their partner, family member or friend to the intake and to be present at the consultation in any case.

At PuntP, we also invite the client to give them information about the anxiety or mood disorder and the treatment. We also want to discuss how loved ones can help their loved one. Involving supportive relatives encourages clients to ask for help and contributes to recovery. Loved ones can encourage the person with the anxiety or mood disorder to take difficult steps.

We discuss the questions and concerns that loved ones have and how we can find a way together in this. We also offer information and there is an offer for relatives where they can find support and a listening ear. Think, for example, of meetings or a course such as 'How do I deal with a loved one with a psychological vulnerability' or the support group 'Living with a loved one who has suicidal thoughts'.
