Arkin Punt P 90

Our treatment team

PuntP employs committed, experienced and specialized practitioners. We work in a team of (GZ) psychologists, psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse specialists and social psychiatric practitioners (SPB'ers). Below we explain who does what.

Arkin, of which PuntP is a part, is a training center for (GZ) psychologists, psychiatrists and nursing specialists. Psychologists and practitioners in training work independently, under the supervision of a specialist.

More practitioners may be involved in your treatment. Different types of practitioners can also think along, because we discuss how the treatments are progressing in our team.

With a (GZ) psychologist, clinical psychologist, psychotherapist or nurse specialist, you follow conversation therapy, also known as psychotherapy. You examine the patterns of your thoughts, feelings and behavior, and you take steps towards the changes you want. Under Behandelingen you will find different types of psychotherapy.

If you need medication, a nurse specialist or psychiatrist will explain and advise you about your medication. You can also make an appointment with a psychiatrist to clarify how your symptoms arose, persisted or may be related to physical problems.

A social psychiatric therapist will work with you to see how you can achieve more balance in different areas of life. For example, in the relationship with your partner and/or your family, at work, in administrative tasks, your daily activities and taking care of yourself. The therapist thinks along with you about how you can take steps to improve this, how you can reduce the stress in your life or how your psychological complaints can have less influence on your life.
